- Bar Setup and Cleanup: Before serving, arrange the bar area, filling it with booze, garnishes, glasses, and other items. Throughout the shift, keep the bar tidy, well-maintained, and orderly. Complete closing tasks include replenishing the bar area, washing the equipment, and cleaning it.
- Mixology and Recipe Knowledge: To produce high-quality drinks, possess knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixing methods, and presentation strategies. Try different flavors, ingredients, and recipes to improve the bar menu and draw in patrons.
- Cash Handling and Transactions: Accurately and quickly handle cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. At the conclusion of the shift, reconcile cash drawers, process payments, and issue receipts. Respect cash handling protocols and keep money secure.
- Alcohol Service Regulations: Adhere to Croatian laws and regulations regarding alcohol service, such as those pertaining to age verification, responsible service methods, and permissible drinking hours. When necessary, refuse to serve those who are inebriated or underage.
- Upselling and Promotion: To boost sales and profits, upsell premium beverages, deals, and promotions. To draw clients and increase revenue, advertise menu items, unique occasions, and happy hour specials.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: To guarantee seamless operations and guest pleasure, cooperate with other bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, and management. Maintaining service standards and coordinating orders requires good team communication.
